Scope of Application
Residual current circuit breakers are suitable for AC 50/60Hz circuits with a rated voltage of AC230V and a rated current up to 63A. They are used for personal electric shock protection and equipment leakage current protection, and also provide overload and short-circuit protection. Under normal circumstances, they can also be used for infrequent circuit switching. They are widely used in hotels, homes, industrial and mining enterprises, and similar buildings and locations.
Working Principle
When the handle of the residual current circuit breaker is in the "+" position, the mechanical mechanism drives the moving contact to reliably contact the stationary contact, connecting the circuit. When an overload fault occurs, the overload current causes the bimetallic strip to bend and push the latch, causing the mechanical locking mechanism to reset. The moving contact quickly separates from the stationary contact, thus disconnecting the circuit. When a short-circuit fault occurs, the short-circuit current causes the instantaneous trip unit to activate. The locking cylinder pusher pushes the latch, resetting the locking mechanism and achieving the disconnection function.
When a leakage current or contact fault occurs, the signal output from the zero-sequence current transformer triggers the thyristor to conduct, activating the leakage current release lock cylinder. The pusher pushes the RCCB to trip, cutting off the power supply within 0.1 seconds, thus
