• Main Functions
● The test platform can simultaneously perform voltage withstand tests on 8 insulating boots, insulating gloves, or 6 insulating helmets.
● Insulating boots can be tested wet or dry. For wet testing, the insulating boots are immersed in water, and water is injected into the inner electrode; for dry testing, a water-soaked sponge is used for the outer electrode, and steel balls are manually filled into the inner electrode.
● The insulating gloves are fixed using the patented "Huibang Swan's Beak" technology made of high-molecular insulating material. The sides of the gloves are held and locked precisely within the swan's beak for automatic water injection. The clamping mechanism has no conductive parts, meeting insulation requirements. After testing, the swan's beak can be easily removed to take off the insulating gloves.
● The specially designed water injection tube produces a columnar water flow. The water injection tube enters the inside of the glove to inject water, preventing water from splashing onto the inner wall of the glove and reducing the creepage distance on the glove surface. After water injection is complete, it retracts into the top of the platform to ensure insulation distance.
● It has a placement slot for insulating helmet testing; the test can be performed by simply fixing the test sample.
● The high-voltage measurement and control unit has a fast high-voltage disconnection mechanism for each test sample. When any sample breaks down, that sample will be automatically disconnected from the high voltage, without affecting the continuation of the test.
● The test bench's high-voltage measurement and control unit uses an 8-channel AD converter to measure leakage current, which is transmitted to the main test bench control system via infrared communication technology for data display, processing, and storage.
● The high-voltage measurement and control unit is powered by a lithium battery. When water is injected into the test sample, the high-voltage measurement and control unit rises to the top, automatically grounds itself, and connects to the charging electrode for automatic charging.
● During the testing process, the test bench uses LED digital tubes to display parameters such as the leakage current of the 8 test samples.
● The test platform uses a 7-inch color LCD touch screen for operation, achieving fully automatic operation through sample and parameter selection.
● The test platform has multiple detection functions, including water tank level detection, sample position detection, sample tray position detection, and sample height detection, to ensure smooth water injection.
● The test platform software can set different sample parameters. Based on the parameters, the test platform automatically sets the distance from the glove cuff to the water surface according to the standard, while ensuring that the inner and outer water levels are consistent. ● The insulation cap test can measure the water level inside and outside the insulation cap, ensuring the creepage distance at the cap opening and maintaining consistent water levels inside and out.
● The test bench and control console are equipped with interlocking devices to ensure the safety of testing personnel.
